Adopt-a-Car Donation

You can help the Southern California Live Steamers upgrade the passenger cars that are used on the public run days on the first Sunday of each month and the new run day on the third Saturdays starting in March.

The new cars are wider, heavier, more stable and a lot more comfortable then the current passenger cars we are currently using. Unfortunately the new cars are also quite expensive costing approximately $4500 to $5000 each.

If you own a company or would like to make a personal, charitable contribution towards the purchase of these new cars please give us a call at 310-429-5428 and ask for Tim. For donations of $1250 or more, a donation plaque will be affixed to the riding cars as shown in the photo below. If you wish to sponsor a complete car we will attach 2 plaques on each side as shown in the image below. What better way to support the little trains at the park. On average we give from 1500 to 1700 rides in 4 hours on each run day so the new cars will be well used and appreciated by all. We hope you will help us out with this project and make a lasting contribution to the Southern California Live Steamers.
