There will be a public run day on Sunday April 5, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Come enjoy free train rides, bring your camera and the kids, have a ball.

Carrie and John from Story Tunes will be there for Story Time under the SCLS clock. The little engineers will enjoy the music and stories while waiting to ride the trains.

We hope to see you all this Sunday.

Sorry can't do it. I will be in Phoenix from the 13th through to the following weekend. If things change will let you know.

Looks like right now like I can go, should bee fun, boy. I'm thinking the the American is going to have a rough time going up to the top with any riders. It still works as last time I was out there with my little loco we would go like hell down from the top, then turn on the Y, get a run for the hill and than my riders would jump off about half way up and I would meet them at the top, it's a short walk back to the top, as the railroad snakes back and forth up the hill and at times the riders would beat me back to the top by just walking up the goat path.Theres no squirrels out there for Steve to look at and it looks like the club boat anchor will be in rehab or boot camp in Phoenix so we should be good to go. Maybe this time your dad can get your van over 45 on the freeway and keep it between the lines?. I'll give Mark a call and see if he will go as I think his loco and cars would be a lot of fun to run there, maybe he can bring his trailer back out and we will load it for him and haul it out there. You need to work on him at the Sunday run. Hey how long is the American, my truck has a 8 foot bad maybe we don't have to pull the tender off.

I don't know but that Brian guy I talked to wanted to see her, like I said he might have something we can do to get more traction out of the loco. Would be nice to go up with Marks loco to though. I'm go and head up Friday night with dad in moms car and leave Saturday night. Hate to have you guys bring up a whole bunch of stuff, but would be nice to have tho loco be looked at by this guy. Is Rory able to swing up with his loco? hes got a good amount of weight on those drivers! I think he would do fine up there.

Just got my wife to sign my permission slip, looks like I will be going. I am going to go up early Saturday and come after the run. I can bring up what ever we need if Tom can't.
