Come on down and pick some weeds. Lots of good weeds ripe for the pickin. No shortage of weeds, plenty to go around. Come on down and help pick some weeds. Did I mention there are lots of weeds to be picked? Well just in case I didn't mention it, there are loads of weeds to be picked. Don't forget to bring a weed pickin friend too! Share the weed pickin and make a day of it. These are first class weeds, not your normal crappy little HO weeds, these are manly, major league, live steamer weeds! If you think you can handle weeds of this caliber then you had better come on down with your pickin gear and pick some of the prime SCLS weeds. More than enough weeds to go around, so don't worry about hogging the weeds. It is a veritable weed buffet! Just keep on pickin. Pick Pick Pick, Pick your weeds. There is nothing more rewarding then picking weeds on a nice cool spring day. Do something good for your inner being and attack the weeds with a vengeance. Take out all that pent up anti weed frustration and do some real damage where it counts. Rumor has it that picking weeds is good for blood pressure and other maladies. So do your heart a favor and come on down to the weed pickin party.

How's that for a subtle hint on the need for weed removal. Hope that I was not to subtle, some people that read this forum are kind of dense.

End of weed rant,

Thanks,

Phil

I used to be a rocket scientist, now I am just a space cadet.

You only need three tools in life - WD-40, Duct Tape, and a Hammer. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

You make that sound like a bad thing! So Cal has the best weeds in the city. Just ripe for the pickin. Did I mention that? Big smile

Shane Holt stopped by Harbor Freight and picked up a propane weed burner to try. We tried it out on the weeds around the transfer table rails and steps and it worked good at getting at the weeds in the cracks that can't be pulled or cut. Howie took the unit and spent a few hours burning the weeds from around the rucks on the dry-wash around the bridge and it looked great when he was done but it did take a lot of time. We will see how fast the weeds grow back.
