It was a nice day but it got a little hot at the end. We had 4 trains out to give rides.
Kelly and Jeff Smith with there GP; 35s and 6 cars.
Rory, Tom, Andy, and new member John all took turns crewing on SCLS new GE-9 with 5 cars and then 6 cars after lunch.
Howie and Sean on Howie’s GP40 pulling 4 cars.
Wolf and Ted on wolfs 0-6-0 steamer with 4 cars and then after lunch switched to running the SCSL F7 with 4 cars
We got off to a slow start and the line got backed up. But after all 4 trains got running the line kept moving and the wait was not to long.
Daisy Lee made ribs for lunch, thank you Daisy
Joann worked in the souvenir depot. Daive, Joe, Pat, Andy, and Ray took turns working in the station. Ray also helped at the sovereign depot. Lonnie was working on some small jobs around the cub. Jim was working on his locomotive, new members Jens and Brian were working and test running there Ca shay steamer. They also did some ride alongs to start there conductor training.
We gave 500 train rides for the day. It was good to see tim out at the club he had some spare time so he did a boiler inspection for Jens and Brian.
