there are 3 of them marks has silver trucks and fuel tank and steve's will be at the club soon: we just cant let his wife know its his as she will kill him.Phil has one on order so we may see a fourth one showing up in a bit.were thinking of sometime having one hullday when we just use the big AC9 just like the big railroads do

Id like to see some UP paint scemes. No offense to you Tom but that orange just makes the engine look terrible and I can't wait untill I get my first diesel.

This type of car is called a wagon top box car. This one was built by the well know live steamer Milon Thorley many years ago. Milon passed away last year and I feel was lucky to buy this nice car from his son Wayne, building one of these scale cars takes alot of time and craftsmanship and I can appreciate that. This car shows just how talented a model builder Milon was.

So. Cal. has the lulu II a 2-6-0 and the LULU a 4-4-0 is at the Lomita railroad museum. Maybe someone out there knows why these locos were named LULU.
