Well it was just one of those days. This was actually the second ballast car incident that we had charlie suggested we use Jim‘s long ballast hopper. It’s actually built to go on top of one of Jim‘s 10 foot three and three-quarter inch scale flat cars instead of doing that we put it on to two 1.5 scale flat cars. That Started out fine but didn’t work out. Earlier on we had our wooden ballast box mounted on a 1.5 scale flat car, but we overloaded it and it flipped over and broke the box. We finish the day by using Rory’s to hopper cars and doing the ballast work. The crew this day was charlie, Dave, Dale, Joe, and myself Tom |
