The power surge was found to be caused by dirt in the carburator causing the jet to plug up. Phil and Tom took the carb apart and cleaned out the and jets and bowl, cleaned out the fuel lines and re-assembled the carb. All was perfect. The body put back on and the engine ran like a top for over 3 hours. Purrs like a kitten now, really smooth and a pleasure to run. |
