Tom on the The Dash-9 following Nate and Andy with a train using the UP 1500. The white building on the right is the new Torrance city and school aquatic center. The Ball field is used by the high school and city leagues. A good batter can hit a ball over the fence. In the past one train got hit by a ball and another time a conductor caught a ball. Are train rides are rarely at the same time as a ball game. Now if it does happen the trains wait till the batters chances to run the trains past the up side up the Crenshaw line. The returning trains are close to the fence so there’s vary low chance of getting hit by a ball so they don’t have to stop. |
