Historically SCLS has had 1” scale 4 3/4 gauge track. But that has not been the case at the Torrance location. Alex O’Donnell set up a third rail text track to get members feedback. The members voted yes to have Alex lead a project to install a third rail on the outer loop of the layout. The outer loop is 1137 feet long after that is done. He has shown interest in put a third rail on the Crenshaw line that’s 2100 feet each way. |
