This was a pretty tricky part of the project. The trucks with the kit didn’t come with any brake rigging. I was looking around in the members container and there’s an area where there’s just a bunch of leftover parts. I found a box with marking on the side of it that said EMD breaks as you can see there’s not much to it a lot of drilling and tapping and kind of figuring everything out because there were no instructions or blueprints so I just looked at pictures kind of went from there. The brakes are functioning, but are not powered. I didn’t have to put the brakes on the trucks, but to me look better with the brake rigging, even though it was a lot of work. |
