i think they call this a banked turn? i got there at 8:30, and left at 6:00pm, at had alot of fun, WOW! were they ever friendly!!, and great lunch, thank you all at OCME.

boy what a nice loco, vary good craftsmanship, I didn't get a chance to see it run but was told it ran grate.if I win the lotto you will see this loco at so cal.it looked as if two not too big people can sit side by side on the tender.

Found out a little history on our ol' caboose. It was built in 1928 by American Car and Foundry as ATSF #1729. In 1969 it was rebuilt to a Ce-2 and renumbered 999516. On 1/10/86 it was sold to "Flight Traing Devices" of Barstow CA. This info kindly was provided by Kimball McGinley on chatski.

that would be a good loco for Jim to take on road trips-meets at other clubs when we go as a group as its nice looking and not so big and heavy as his other locos. would be grate to see it running around a little bit at so cal too

if we could get all the members and club steammers up and running I think maybe we would have at lest 15-17 livesteam locos running at the club, now that would be a show

If you look closely at that engine it would be a great candidate for an eletric conversion. The chassis has enough room to hide the motors, and the tender is big enough for the batteries and speed controller. We could even hook up a smoke machine to it.

yes that would be a good thing,I thought I might have 30 cars and that would make me the guy with the most cars around LA. I did read theres a guy back in HO,that has 250 cars I think steve up at S+S railroad has alot of cars.I have parts for 10 more cars for my self and will be building maybe 10 more for phill and mark,rory and rob have plans for a few more we will be building as well, CARS ARE GOOD
